“I loved the racy 1st person style of Sandeep while he wrote the book. He definitely reflected the advertising scenario of Delhi and Bombay, as it was 10-15 years ago, and what it would never be, again... It was more of hard work and hard play. It used to be one of the few professions which unquely mixed glamour and intellect! Over the years the glamour has stayed on, while intellect is fast disappearing... maybe due to the boom of Specialist agencies.
However, the book also sort of couldn't avoid the undertones of "bragging" and "power-display" throughout...
Anyways, who cares... neither Sandeep who just added another feather to his alread full cap, nor the young people who'd like to add another book to their "books read" lists.
Perhaps, the book would have been much more useful if Sandeep had written it in 1990's instead of in 2000's, esp. since he strongly presented a case of what the profession should be / should maintain.”
