I have been reading as long as I can remember, my favorite books as a child (extremely pre-teen) were Trixie Belden, she was my "detective hero" not Nancy Drew. I read a lot of various kinds of books...I adore true crime, and historical fiction but my all time favorite love are gothic romances. I love murder mysteries, but I do have a bad... more »

I just remembered the book Here Comes Tagalong and guess who the only other person who has it is!... yes, you! I was reminded of it bc my 6 year old is always feeling left out by her two older sisters. Somehow I don't still have my copy of it so I ordered it and it just came in today. I can't wait to read it to her at bed time!

    Dear Shanon,

I have newly joined in shefali. I am an Indian, and an avid reader on all subjects, although I do not read much of murder mysteries.

Ha! Our partents obviously signed us up for the same book club! I still have my Harvey's Hideout too! Did you also have Never Tease a Weasle or The Blah? Moe Q McGlutch IS my all time favorite. I wanted two boys and a girl so I could name them Zeke, Zak and Zelda Mae! Alas, I've three girls.

Looking through your shelf I see we actually have a lot of books in common. (I've only started adding my books today.) I've read a lot of true crime. A lot of Anne Rule. I can't tell you how many of my teen nights were spent w/ Stephen King and V.C. Andrews is one of those guilty pleasures!

    Thanks for the friend request!
