Sez, Michele

Sez, Michele

I enjoy reading a variety of books with a particular emphasis on authors from the African Diaspora, Latino/a authors, as well as books that explore multicultural, education, and social justice issues. I love poetry, mysteries and children's literature. In addition, I have a growing passion for photography.

    Hi,
No, I haven't read Ish, but I'm sure I will now that you've made me aware of it. Thanks!

Not to worry my friend! You should see some of the messes I've left all over the Shelf. LOL!

I'm the old lady in the glasses. The other woman is my "spiritual daughter". She is off on an adventure hiking the Appalachian Trial. Yup! Through the Appalachian Mountains! Oh yes, I tried to talk her out of it. So did her real mom, but alas, what is youth for? I admire her courage and sense of adventure. I just wish I could fast forward to her return. That way I can be proud of her and not have to worry at the same time.

We took the picture after a mini adventure we took together, through the old, long abandoned train station in Detroit. The old station is a work of art even in its dilapidated form. I took some cool pics inside. I plan to use a couple as my avatar, in time. As an expert photographer, you'll have to let me know what you think of them when I do.

Hi Michele! How to get the photograhy group going? Was wondering that too. Maybe we should have a contest or something. Or everybody hurry up and get a site going with the pictures, and post it on the site, like we were discussing.

I've seen shoes thrown over electric lines like the ones in your photo. That's a new aged gang sign isn't it?

(BTW-Thanks for smacking our promiscuous friend over in DW! )

    Hello Michele,
Wow! I haven't thought about Tally's Corner since Lit N' Comp class in 1969...
I'm hoping others will pipe up on the 'Photography Enthusiasts' group...

    Peace,
