Sarah

I read whenever I get the chance. I read whatever I can get my hands on too. I love talking about books and film adaptations of books. Some of my favorite authors are Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Neil Gaiman, Dan Brown, Stephen King, Anne Perry, and J.K. Rowling. That should give you an idea of all the different genres I enjoy reading.... more »

It will be great to dwell on your favorite author's books. Its ages since I read Dickens, while at school and after, while the other authors I am yet to read. Shelfarian friends like you will sue help me to discover new books and leave them to endear and send us into raptures.

Hi Sarah, Welcome and thank you for accepting our invitation to join the Bibliophile group. You have a read a very interesting selection of books . I read One of Anne Perry's books years ago. I can't remember the title, but it was about a policeman that was investigating a crime and was loooking after his very sick father. What struck me about Anne Perry is her knowledge of the Victoria era. I hope that you will join in our discussions or start one of your own, if you like. Happy reading!!!

Hey there! Welcome to Shelfari! I love your avatar as well (I actually printed out that pic and use it as a bookmark, lol). I was totally the same way when it came to trying to "figure out what I want to do in life"- it has taken me forever to finish my A.A, but I think I may be done with it by the end of next semester *prays*. Are you already at a university, or a community college (like me,lol.)? If you're at a c.c, then what university do you want to go to - or what one are you already at (that question looks funky)?

Also, you may want to join us over at the Author, Author group. This month's author is Margaret Atwood, and I have to tell you - I LOVE her. Seeing that we have similar tastes in books makes me think you may love her too. Well, I'll stop rambling now, lol.

    Happy Reading!

Hi, and welcome to the Chiller group. Our group's been around for a while so there are a ton of threads. Hop on over to our introduction post and tell the group hi and talk about some of your favorite horror authors. Feel free to start your own discussion posts and browse our growing group shelf.

Any questions at all just ask, same for suggestions or ideas.

Hi there! I'm just dropping by to welcome you to The 100+ Book Challenge. The idea of the group is pretty much self explanatory - try to read 100 or more books in a one year period. If you do have any questions, please feel free to send a message to me or Tenia. In the meantime, good luck reaching your goal!
