Hello Dear Friend! My new suspense thriller "The Newton Prophecies" is now available for purchase on Amazon.com and I was hoping you might help spread the word about my book by adding it to your Wish, Plan to Read, or Read List. And if you haven't already, please check out the excerpt from the novel as well as other short tales available at www.keithkatsikas.com. You can also LOOK INSIDE the book at Amazon.com. Thank you so much for your continued support! =)
HI Marty: Are you in Mexico? We're finishing up a month spent in San Blas, Nayarit - birding, kayaking. Definitely looking forward to accessing an oven, or at least a microwave. One functioning element on a gas stove can be quite limiting.
Happy Holidays!! Carol
Hello there, my friend! Thank you for joining the Chiller (a Realm of Horror) group! I hope you will frequent our group and let us peek into your head. I am always eager to learn what others think about what works and what doesn't in regards to horror.
See you soon! =)
Hi Marty: You must really be looking forward to your move! We spent a month in San Carlos in December and an additional month from mid-March to mid-April. Wind can be a problem there, especially for people like us with lightweight, inflatable kayaks. It's a pleasant place to spent some time, although I prefer the forested regions further south. And it isn't very Mexican. No central square, for instance.
Thanks, Marty, for commenting on the archeological site. It does seem a shame that it hasn't been more active. I'll add more to it to see if I can attract more comments.
Your resume sounds terrific. And how fortunate you are to be bilingual! I've studied Spanish sporadically, but ...........My husband and I are currently in San Carlos, Sonora for six weeks - kayaking in the Sea Of Cortez and hanging out. In past winters we have driven as far as the volcanoes near Colima - wonderful birds and forests in that area. Volcan Fuego was actively erupting the second last time we were there and the military had evacuated the nearby village.
We've been to Honduras three times and while there visited the archeological site at Copan, famous for its portrait stelae and hieroglyphic stairs. The excellent museum had recently opened when we were last there: http://www.maya-archaeology.org/museums/copan/copan.html
Out last visit to Tikal was nine years ago, when tourists were still allowed to climb the pyramids. I've read that that is no longer possible since someone fell from one and died - ironic, given the lives that were lost during blood sacrifices centuries ago.
During both visits we spent several nights at one of the small hotels right at the ruins. Also spent a rather hot and restless night in a tent while waiting for an available room.
I am inviting you as a freind because of your love of the literary world. I am an author of love poetry and romantic/suspense novels. You can view my latest novel, Dangerous Love, 2010 A.D. on Amazon.com currently. the book is undergoing a correction on the title design and will be available in all major book strores and on-line around the world, very soon. Have a great life. Skip Stover
Thanks for being a friend and for the note.
I am glad you have enjoyed your travels to Alberta and BC. Victoria and Vancouver are two of my favorite places to visit, and if you haven't gone whale watching in Victoria yet, you must plan it for your next trip. :)
I have been through Washington state, to Whidby Island. I had a friend who lived there years ago. I want to do some signings in Tacoma and Seattle soon.
I haven't been to Oregon yet! I don't think...hmmm...
We traveled a lot, going across Canada a few times and dipping down through the northern states at times, so who knows? :)
I do hope you'll add my books to your shelf, especially Whale Song. :)
