A former lawyer in Ohio and New York, I am now teaching law education in a semi-rural, semi-suburban high school southwest of Greenville, South Carolina. I have been an avid reader of fiction for all of my adult life, owing my love of reading chiefly to my mother, who always had a book in her hands. I prefer good literary fiction, but I will occasionally delve into more pop lit and chick lit fare. I am in a book group in my neighborhood and another with some friends in Greenville, and I enjoy the socializing aspect of book groups as well as the discussion part. I love to share my ideas about books with others, and enjoy reading reviews of books that I am interested in sampling. « less
