Hey, Sherrie! That book I was talking about is called Art and Physics by Leonard Shlain, i believe. I've always wanted to read it. The concepts of art and science and how closely they are related really fascinate me. I think about it all the time, probably too much, in fact. Anyway, thought you might want to know about the book while I could think of the title. :)
Hi Sherrie, you're more than welcome to borrow my copy of Buddhism Without Beliefs. I think you'd find it interesting. Stephen Batchelor was a monk in both the Zen & Tibetan Buddhist traditions before becoming disillusioned with aspects of Buddhism that he felt obscured the simplicity & clarity of the original core Buddhist teachings. I liked it a lot. Let me know if you want it & I'll take it to the kiln firing!
