  A Wheaten Terrier / Poodle mix sounds really soft to the touch. My dog has the apricot/hay wirey overcoat with a softer white undercoat. This apparently is typical of the Dutch Smoushund. The DS supposedly are Schnauzer mistakes that breeders usually destroy. It's funny, though, they don't look much like Schnauzers. Here's some web sites. You'll see why I thought your dog looks so much like mine. (Yes, at least one web site is in Dutch.)

  OMG! Your dog looks like it could be related to mine (but yours is MUCH better groomed). My dog is considered a mutt here in the U.S. but is (so I'm told) probably considered a Dutch Smoushund in Europe.
