I'm an author, musician, gardener and goat breeder (fill in the punch line) and I live in a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain valley. My favorite authors are William Goldman, Ira Levin, Richard Brautigan, Shirley Jackson, Mark Twain, John Steinbeck, Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, Jim Thompson, and James M. Cain. My favorite of all is Dr. Seuss.

My published books are They Hunger, The Farm, The Home, The Manor, The Harvest and The Red Church, and the story collection Thank You For The Flowers. I've had a couple of film scripts optioned. I'm also a freelance editor and newspaper reporter and publish articles about writing. In short, I've done just about everything except technical writing and figuring out how to make money off of all this inky blather.
