After 26 years as an educator, I retired early from SUNY. Published in non-fiction as a columnist and feature writer since 1999, my debut novel, Four Summers Waiting, was published by Five Star in July 06. It is a historical romance, a Civil War saga set in Long Island,New York and Washington City, 1860-1864. The story describes a young woman's determination to help causes she believes in despite parental opposition. Authentic letters and diary excerpts chronicle the struggles and hopes of two families in this Civil War epic. My husband, Tom and I live in Cape Haze, Fl. and enjoy golf, dancing, and the Gulf of Mexico.
My second novel is Book One of a series . Finding Fiona is the first in Maine Shore Chronicles. It is a contemporary novel with a turn of the century twist. It was releaased in July 08 by Five Star/Gale publishers. Book two of the series, Moonglade will be released in March of 2010. A Romantic Suspense novel, It takes up where Finding Fiona leaves off.
