Hi Shana, I was on vacation last week and read 6 books :) I read Double Bind by Chris Bohjalian and it was an awesome read. I have read Midwives and Transister Radio by him. Have you read anything else of his?
Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Change of Heart was such a great read. I liked it much better than Nineteen Minutes.
I only have 3 more to read by her and I have read them all. I just finished The Book of Bright Ideas by Sandra Kring and now I am almost finished with A girl Named Zippy. Then, I am not sure what I am going to read next. My book shelves are over filled so I have better get reading more than one. We are on vacation the end of July so hopefully I can read a few that week. Enjoy the rest of your summer, I cant belive the first week of July is over.

Hi Shana! Thanks for talking books with me!!! I am looking forward to it. I also have a Shelfari group called The Next Chapter if you want to join. Our June book is The Glass Castle by Jeannette Wells. I am also reading The Secret Between Us by Barbara Delinsky. I will look up the Kring book to see what I think. This is gonna be fun! Thanks!

I haven't read Keeping Faith. is that the one about the stigmata? I read Salem Falls. it was pretty good...but I wouldn't say one of her best. I think Nineteen Minutes was better, so try to read that one before Salem Falls. :)

I was just browsing your bookshelf - you may like the book I'm currently reading, My Dearest Friend - the letters of John and Abigail Adams. You admire strong histoically significant women - I think you'd really enjoy Abigail's voice as well!

Sorry about A Thousand White Women. I voted to read that one for a local book club and I hated it. Everyone was starry eyed about May Dodd. I thought she was so full of herself!

OMG, I totally forgot about the picture. No, I don't think he knew Michael was on the Jury, b/c if so, then why all the drama about being mad at him for it once he found out? I don't know. The picture thing was weird. She does alot of things in her books that make me really wonder. Did you ever read Plain Truth?

LOL! I guess you are right I have never thought about that! But I will say most of the reviews on amazon don't seem publishable (is that a word, lol). But if someone did steal your review you would always have proof that you wrote it first since they are dated...then you could sue and make a ton of money!!! :-)
