Hi Scheruvi..Came across you comment on "The Fountainhead"...I have seen people go on abt how its a philosphy of their life..I personally think she rambles. Practically speaking i would be surprised if Rand was able to practise all of what she preaches. A good story neverthless but nothing more. However i do like her idea of explaining her philosphy via fiction rather than wanting to preach the same. I guess she takes herself too seriously and for me thats where she stops enjoying her life trying to be correct all the time. Her views on capitalism is debatable, for me it only leads to social inequality and the effects of the same could be detrimental to the society as the gap b/w rich and poor goes up.

Sonia, I read Half a yellow sun (it was the only book on you list that could get a hold of at a tiny library). It was not my favorite. Very depressing... I am going to the library now, lets hope I can find a better one!
