I fell in love with reading as a young child and have lost count of the many late, sleepless nights I've spent happily engrossed in one story or another. I was then and continue to be an avid reader and try to read 2 to 3 books a week when life and time allow it.

I love both fiction and non-fiction of several genres: science-fiction, fantasy, contemporary romance, paranormal romance, historical romance, suspenseful thriller, horror, biographies, as well as philosophical and educational texts.

I tend to get focused on one author at a time and will read anything and everything I can find by them. I tend towards novel series, too, though not always on purpose. I'll pick up an interesting book, read it, then discover it's part of a trilogy (or more) and by then, naturally, I'm hooked. Though I enjoy most of the series I discover, I do appreciate it when the writer limits them to six books or less, just my opinion!
