I'm one of those people who can't get their head to just be quiet—unless I'm reading. I own a lot of design books and get made fun of because I do. It's all good, though. I have come to terms with my obsession. :)

    “This book (if not "true") is quite the philosophical gem. I feel that if people were to willingly adopt to the ideas expressed in this book, that being a member of society would be a much more pleasant experience. To add to one of the previous reviews, I've read th Bible several times and I found this piece much more touching and comprehensive from both a literary and a spiritual perspective. Also, don't believe everything you read. The true manuscript is either hidden in the Vatican vaults or was burned centuries ago.”

    “I don't want to say that I hated the book, but not having the main character evoke any type of emotion (considering the fact that I'm supposed to be reading her diary) is disappointing to say the least. Also, I agree with one of the previous reviews - Palahniuk should stick to guys. ”
