“This book was incredibly good, in my opinion. It was extremely suspenseful. Not much of Hannibal in this one... but I have to say that Will Graham was a good character. I liked him, and his personality. I also liked Francis Dolarhyde... even though he was the psychotic bad guy. After the part about his childhood, I did gain some sympathy for him. And felt for his character...
The one thing I wish about the Hannibal series in a whole is that I wish the author had included more about the time after Hannibal Rising and between when Hannibal got caught by Graham. I want to know more detail about the people he tortured, ate and killed. Haha. I want to know what occurred in that time. But, that sort of thing might be included in the book Hannibal... I haven't read it yet though, so that's why I don't know.”

Hannibal Rising

“I thought it was fantastic. It really gave me a good sense of why Hannibal became the way he was...
I actually gained some sympathy for his character after this. His life story is so sad, it's hard not to.”
