Marlene shows life and how it really is, even when we think we have good friendships, life can throw us a curve ball. I really enjoyed reading her story it was great, the tone was good and it was exciting. Keep up the good work!”

    Hey there BookDiva4choc,
Just stopping by to say hi. I see that you are reading the Velvet Rope. I just read it last week. I liked it. Let me know what you think. I'm reading Daring Love by Elaine Overton. It's kind of slow but I think I'm going to like. I generally read urban and than a romance.

I submitted an application to be a children's writer-in-residence for the library here in Boston. It's for emerging young adult novelists. I hope to redraft my childrne's novel so that it will be ready to be published. I will rewrite the novel even if I'm not selected for the fellowship and I found that deciding which 15 pages to submit as well as writing a proposal about what I'd work on over the 9 month residence was really helpful. Keep writing!
