Happy to see my book on your "plans to read" list; when you're finished, please let me know what you think.
A third in the vampire series is being released this year, too.
I noticed you're reading a book by Christopher Moore. I discovered him last month and now I'm addicted! He's a terrific storyteller. I read his two vampire novels and I just finished "A Dirty Job", which I loved, so I thought I'd start from the beginning with "Practical Demonkeeping" and work my way through. I haven't been this excited about an author in a while. Anyway, I hope everything is going well with you. It's been a while since I've posted to your page. Take care! ~Des

You might like the Mermaid Chair, but it's really a book about a woman falling in love with a priest and their forbidden love on this little town on the coast ... it's rich in content but not necessarily about mermaids - it's not a hardcore romance or anything because it asks a lot of questions about what God is and how that relates to love.
I love you.
