I actually spend most of my time in South America right now with my husband and our daughter Lorca..... I was born in Spain and I love reading books in Spanish, whether it's the novels of the great Gabito or poetry by Borges..... my favorite thing to do at home in New Orleans is to sit out on the veranda with a glass of chianti and a good book and good jazz playing, sometimes my husband comes out and we dance.... I also love to entertain, especially during Mardi Gras, my friends and I often sit outside and look down on the party while we sip smoothies, too old for the madding crowd now... and there is my daughter to think about.... the books I love are all classics, I love Dante and Shakespeare and Dickens and Cervantes... not to mention poetry, like Neruda and Rilke and Octavio Paz... I am trying to get my books up as fast as I can... I've been busy moving into my husband's estate home in Chile, so I am adding books as I find them and as I have time..... that is an old picture of myself and my husband on vacation on the Riviera when we lived in New Orleans... even our new scanner does not do it justice, but it will have to do..... imagine that we were once that young, LOL « less
