Hey. I love your profile picture. It's charming. :) I got an email saying you were looking for a book recommendation for whether or not to read twilight. My email was being a little stupid, so I thought I'd tell you on your profile. I loved twilight and I highly recommend that you read it. If vampires and impossible love stories are your thing, you'll enjoy it. I know I did. :)

Read Twilight if you want some light reading. I loved the book - but I read a lot of Vampire literature. It's also a great little romance...but my mother read it after me and it gave her nightmares. I found it pretty harmless - but things affect different people in different ways. The best vampire book ever written is Interview with a Vampire. I think you can see from my shelf that I read other things too - but I know a little bit about this stuff.

Twilight seems to appeal to teens primarily, mostly females, but I do know a number of adults who enjoy the series. The first book deals a bit more with establishing the relationships in the book and the others get more into the actions and conflicts of relationships between humans and vampires. I enjoyed it, but I teach teenagers and could see it from their point of view.

I did not like Twilight. If you like books about vampires, I would suggest Anne Rice. The Witching Hour is my favorite from this author, but it is not about vampires, however, she does write vampire stories.

Ya - read it - it's a cute story. I was afraid it was going to end up being a dumb teenybop book but it was really good and it didn't drag out. It is the only one in the series that I have read so I can't comment on the others

Well, Twilight is pretty good. It really seems cliche from descriptions but its really awesome. I liked the others. I really didn't like the ending of the series, but I liked the story.

I am a teenage girl and I loved the Twilight and the rest of the series. It's definately a romance, but mixed in with some humor and action. It also is meant for teenagers, but adults may like it too. I loved it, but if you don't or didn't like it, then that's ok...everyone's entitled to their own opinion

I don't like twilight. It is too mushy and they repeat everything over again.

I read Twilight because of a graduate course in reading education that I took. EVERYONE in the class had read it and raved about it. I had passed the book up several times because fantasy is not my choice of genres, but it is an extremely good read. As crazy at it sounds it is realistic enough that it quickly became one of my favorite books. I strongly recommend it.

I read this book on the advise of my teenage daughter. Twilight is an easy read, nothing to deep or absorbing, but entertaining enough. It's appropriate for younger readers, nothing to graphic or violent.

In regards to "Should I read Twilight".....
I read it because my wife insisted that I read it because she liked it a whole lot. So I did.

    Not my cup of tea.

It is an easy read, but the majority of the book revolves around the main character swooning for a Vampire boy. From what you've got listed as your books of choice. I would assume to say that you wouldn't like it too much, but then again, you might be into the angst ridden, teen lust romance novels.....

Thats my 2 cents ( not worth much these days ;)

I really think these books are written for teenagers. I enjoyed Twilight, but by the time I got to the third book in the series, I was tired of all that vampire love. I found them a bit silly. They were written well and are clean, but if I am going to read about vampires I will stick to Anne Rice.

Honestly I was a little upset with these books. Twilight was not as bad as the books that follow. She is a captivating author, but I feel that she included a lot of adult content for a series directed towards youth. I think that it gives young girls a false sense of what is appropriate behavior, and what is not. Just my opinion.

If you are a grown up, it depends on if you would like twilight or not. Most of this book is romance so if you like those kind of books...
