I am a sophomore at the University of Arkansas majoring in Industrial Engineering. I started really reading for fun, and not just for school, a little over a year ago (Feb '06). I constantly have my nose in a book, and my friends always roll their eyes when I find this great story and want to tell anyone about it... anyone else have that...more »

Yeah...a friend sent it by e-mail...I don't know the author...but I thought it was a well written sentiment for the New Year and wanted to share it with all my Shelfari family...

I see you also enjoy romance novels...so do I...and my family rolls their eyes every time they see my head buried in a book or if I want to discuss a book...that's why I joined shelfari and goodreads...to share my views and have some interesting book discussions...some of my friends are a little more understanding because they love to read just as much as I do...

Happy New Year's to you and yours and Happy Reading :-)

I LOVE your icon of the Love Is couple, Sarah. So cute! When my husband and I first started dating Love Is cartoons played a major role. (We'd always cut them out of the paper and send them to each other or give them to each other.)

Hey yourself, yeah I noticed that we like all of the same stuff too! At the moment I'm really into suzanne brockmann and just finished Into the Storm and Into the Night and I absolutely loved them!!! The only problem is that they're pretty hard to get hold of here (in Australia) so will have to try and content myself with those two for now. Have you read any of the troubleshooter series books? Love to hear what you thought.

I thought you might be interested in a contest that I’m holding. It’s wacky, creative and ‘killer’ fun.

‘Create a Corpse’ Contest lets you name a character in my next suspense novel Divine Justice. Of course, you guessed it—the character dies. So here’s a great way to ‘kill off’ your boss, or childhood bully. ;)

For contest details, just scroll over the following URL, copy and paste into your browser. This contest is for avid readers who’d like to be part of the process. I’ve been getting lots of entries from my Shelfari friends, and I look forward to receiving yours. :)

Thin Ice, was an incredible book. I loved the Itinaron, and the stubborness between them, was excellent, I am just hunting down the rest of T-Flac boys, my girlfriend at work is now in love with these characters. You should see the Adair website, she puts pictures to the male characters as to what she thinks they should look like. My friend is in a constant state of drull..:)

Daingerfield, huh? Home of the $1 movies. Been there, done that. I'd love to be your friend, Sarah.

I giggled over your comment about wanting to tell folks when you run across a great story. I'm constantly waking up my husband at all hours to tell him what's going on in the current book I'm reading. You can imagine how well that goes over.
    Happy Reading!
