Nice to hear from you. It's funny how you are looking to get out of Jersey and yet so many people in NY think that Jersey is Utopia! It always seems that everyone simply wants to flee their birthplaces- even if just for a little bit. I, myself, will be relocating to the Bay Area of San Francisco this summer. As far as music, I love Radiohead, R.E.M., alternative music, classic rock, classical and a host of other things. I run the gamut! How about you? It's nice to hear that you are done with being a student and now teach. Where do you teach?Have a great day and hope to hear from you soon!
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Hi SarahBeth,Thanks for accepting my invite!I found it interesting that there was someone here from East Brunswick. I lived there for 10 years and went to EBHS. I also want to commend you on your MFA. I have a friend who is an English major and we are always discussing poetry. I, too, adore poetry!I also live for music of all types. What could be better in life than books and music? Perhaps a glass of wine, besides!Happy New Year!Joan
Congratulations to you for earning your MFA in creative writing! I too, am a huge music buff.

Wow! You sound like a very busy girl! ...
I thought you might be interested in a contest that I’m holding. It’s wacky, creative and ‘killer’ fun. ‘Create a Corpse’ Contest lets you name a character in my next suspense novel Divine Justice. Of course, you guessed it—the character dies. So here’s a great way to ‘kill off’ your boss, or childhood bully. ;)For contest details, just scroll over the following URL, copy and paste into your browser. This contest is for avid readers who’d like to be part of the process. I’ve been getting lots of entries from my Shelfari friends, and I look forward to receiving yours. :)http://www.cherylktardif.com/contests/~Cheryl Kaye Tardif, bestselling author of Whale Song, Divine Intervention and The River
And thanks so much for your very kind words! I'd love to answer any questions you have about writing... you can email me through my website at www.lisaunger.com!
