Hello! I enjoy reading all kinds of books, including Christian devotionals, historical novels, historical romance, and science fiction. I enjoy writing poetry and doing beadwork. I am a single mom and employed right now as a substitute teacher and adjunct faculty at a local college. I have my B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Defiance... more »

This is a great devotional that is easy to read and understand. The devotions in this book apply to living everyday life to the fullest and include many heart-felt examples from Meyer's own life. A good devotional, but for those of us needing more "meat" to chew on, I suggest Oswald Chambers, My Utmost For His Highest.

By far, one of the greatest devotionals out there. The thoughts, ideas, and meditations in this book are eye-opening, heart-awakening, and intellectually stimulating. If you are a fast reader like me, you may have to read each day's devotional twice to fully grasp the idea.

WOW! The first 3-4 chapters of the book are very slow, so if you get frustrated there...just stick through it, because it's worth it! I've read the book once (borrowed it from a friend) and now I want to get my own copy so I can re-read it. If you've ever doubted God's love for you...if you ever wondered why bad things happen to good people...if you have questions about how the Trinity works (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)...READ THIS BOOK. This book answered sooo many questions for me, and I know it will for you too, if you read it with an open heart and mind. On a side note, I've heard on various websites that they are making this book into a movie!!! I prayerfully hope that is true - yet another means to reach people for Christ.

My ABSOLUTE favorite bible. This is the easiest translation of the Bible to read, as it's in modern-day language...and It's Pink!!!

The very first book in The Twilight Saga, and the one which the Twilight movie was based upon. If you're thinking about seeing the movie, I definetly recommend reading the book first as many things are different and the book has much more detail and explains things much better. In this novel, Bella moves in with her father, Charlie, and is first introduced to Edward and the Cullens family, whom she quickly discovers are vampires. Even knowing this fact, Bella does not feel scared or threatened around Edward or his family, and Bella and Edward's relationship blossoms. However, a chance encounter with some other vampires (Laurent, James, and Victoria) puts Bella and her family's life in danger. Bella ends up being severely injured at the end of the book, with Edward nobly coming to her rescue.

This is probably my least favorite book in the Twilight Saga, mainly because there aren't really any surprises. If you have half a brain, everything that happens in Eclipse can be determined based on the course of the previos novel, New Moon. BUT STILL...to get all of The Twilight Saga, you should still read this.

This is the last book in the Twilight Sage, and unfortunately it leaves many unanswered questions. Bella and Edward get married, and after giving birth to Renesmee, Bella is "turned" (into a vampire) to save her life. Bella seems much suited to the vampmire life and unlike other "newbies" does not feel the need to hunt humans - she has the self-control of a seasoned vampire, which Carlisle claims may have to do with her being prepared to be "turned" ahead of time. But...What happens with Jacob and his friends? What happens with Renesmee when she matures - does she end up with Jacob (who imprinted on her at a young age, much to Bella's chagrin), or with Nahumel the only have man-half vampire in existence? This is an exhausting read, it seems like way to much was shoved into one novel, I really hope Meyer continues writing to explain many of the endings that were not tied up in this book.

This is the second book in The Twilight Saga, and it is my particular favorite out of all four books. Most of the novel takes places without Edward and features Bella and Jacob growing into a very close friendship until he begins taking up with Sam, and seemingly abandons Bella. Bella discovers later that Jacob is trying to keep her safe by hiding an ancient secret...Read the book to find out! Victoria is still hot on Bella's trail in this book, and Jacob and his friends help out, until the end when Edward rushes in as Bella's knight in shining armor.
