I have the Storm of Swords already on my bookshelf. I just needed to space the books out, you know. But I don't want to wait so long that I forget the storyline and the characters.
Hey Sanz, I see that you liked 'The Good Earth'. I really enjoyed it years ago. Also, I have Angel's Game on my TBR pile and also Storm of Swords in my hand, well on my home bookshelf at least. I have been holding off reading it, trying to knock down my TBR pile by reading other books before I invest a lot of time in it. Is it as good as Game of Thrones and Clash of Kings?
I just wanted to stop by and tell you that I really enjoyed the idea of your Challenge group but because you're not very active with your site you are at risk of being falling away because of that. If life has got to busy, perhaps you should have so co facilitator. It can add a lot of life to your group. I know it really was helpful at 1001 to have the added faciliatators. I would suggest Evana as she did a great job in December. Just my insights, you may ignore if you like.
I posted a style challenge for December. Please have a look at it and let me know if you want changes. I added some extra verbage up in the rules as well.
I have a question about the Challenge Room. Do I post a book for when I start or finish? What do I do if it crosses over 2 months. I can fit The Thorn Birds into one of the new October Challenges but I started it in September. Thanks.
Never mind- I looked at what someone else was doing. You think your directions are clear…
Dear sanz, in the reading globally, I was wondering why there was not a set that went all the way around the world- say a group of 12/15 books. England, France, Spain, turkey, china, Japan, Australia, Peru, Mexico, USA, Canada, Ireland, Norway . You could have a couple of different ones. Or have I misunderstood this, and am to pick a country from each group.
Hey Sanz! I finished Crime and Punishment this weekend - it's a bloody brilliant book. :) One of the best novels I've ever read - well-written, fascinating, and profound. You should definitely give it a go.
Hello,I enjoyed browsing your shelf and adding a few to my TBR list. Hope you don't mind me following your shelf :)
Great! I will get to Harry soon then! Thanks!
Are you enjoying Harry potter? I have not gotten to them yet, wondering if I should some day.

I am out of town so don't have access to my records. Please remind me on Friday.
I am going to decline too-sorry. I do a few challenges a year but my biggest challenge is finding time to read. Thanks for asking me!
Hi Sanz!I'm sorry to have decline the invitation, I think the group is quite fun, I'm just not the right person for such activities, I can never view book reading in competitive way nor as a challenge, but thank you for the invitation none the less. :)
You're welcome! You're going to love these books.
Cool. I just gave you a recommendation BTW-it is in this thread:http://www.shelfari.com/groups/48124/discussions/408687/Decembers-Distinctively-Different-Mini-Challenge
