I love to read and am obsessed with urban fantasy, business, psychology and history. I'm hoping to find people with similar tastes who can give me suggestions on books that I should look into. I'm pretty open to most things, so hit me up if you want to share!

    Hello,
I see that you have Managing thought by Mary Lore on your list. It looks like you haven't read it yet, but how did you happen to get it on your list. Mary is a good friend of mine and I've attended her some of her seminars. She is amazing to experience. I just was listening to a radio podcast by her today and it immediately puts me in the frame of mind in which I am happy and thriving. I'm just curious how you found about the book.

I am finding it a little bit of a slow start compared to covet - I loved covet, but having a little of a hard time getting into this one, I am hoping it will pick up pretty quick and plan to finish it this weekend. I could kick myself I had started outlander and had an opportunity this week at client book exchange to grab one for $1 and then forgot. Arnie is gonna kill me I bought 6 books this week LOL - But I will finish 2-3 this weekend traveling up to Wisconsin....

I'm planning to read it all, with a few breaks here and there as a couple new releases pop up in the near future. I'm hoping to have the whole series read before Thanksgiving.

I loved it, there is a lot more to the story than initally thought, I was really engaged in the main character Kvothe [think i spelled it right] - this book has all the aspects. Magic, Mystery, Love and more, really well written I had a hard time putting it down... and then wanted more when i got to the last page.

Lol. I'm glad to hear it. Hopefully the rest of the series will go a lot faster for you. What did you think of Trent? He gets very confusing sometimes.

No. Don't skip the first one, it sets up all the background for all the story lines. I know, it's a bit slow, but keep going, it does get better. All the characters get more compelling as they go. Got to love Trent, Al and Jenks!!!

Hi, I noticed you're reading Dead Witch Walking. This is an awesome series! Absolutely one of my favorites. The first book is just ok, but each book gets better and by the third I was totally hooked. One night while I was reading book 4, I glanced at the clock and it was midnight and I thought I'd just read for a few more minutes. The next time I looked at the clock it was 4am. I was that engrossed. Stick with it, you'll be glad you did. If you want to chat about this series, send me a note. I love talking about it!
