I stay too busy so it's difficult to come often… but this is a great place to find new and exciting books and of course EXCITING PEOPLE LIKE YOU. Don't you think that books and its and readers are alike!!? Again Welcome!! Did you see anything at all that you were interested in or just pass? I picked up a few more books from the library today.

Dear Sandy: As a member of the Suspense and Thriller book group, you may be interested in my debut novel, HUNTING THE KING. It just hit the bookstores last week. Watch the YouTube book trailer if you have the chance. It's awesome. Really. Here are the details on the book:
HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: "Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can't come too soon." Molly is an in-your-face woman with a mysterious past who is about to go on the adventure of a lifetime.

As I said, to get a good sense of how exciting the novel is check out the heart-pounding trailer for the book at http://www.kunati.books/hunting-the-king-peter-clenott/. Or you can view it on YouTube or my web site at http://www.peterclenott.com.

The sequel, TRACES OF A LIFE, has already been completed, as well, the first two books in a series with Molly O’Dwyer. In TRACES, Molly begins uncovering her own past while digging on an island in Boston harbor. Murder and cover-up and a mysterious past that many people, even those closest to her, don’t want revealed.

If you have the chance, please let me know what you think. Thanks, Sandy.

Sandy...Thanks for the invite. I'm a major romance, romance-suspense, paranormal, erotic, some historical, some chick-lit avid reader. In other genre's I enjoy James Patterson and Lisa Scottoline. I may or may not be in the right group here but I'll check out some of the member shelves and see. I found the write-up on your book fascinating because a) we're in the same era and b) because I like reality in addition to fantasy and so it's on my shopping list. I love that J. Kaye is also a maxine fan:) and that Val B. loves water (the ocean?). Sanibel Island, FL is my all time favorite vacation spot.

Thanks for joining the Suspense & Thrillers group! Love having new members. Though it might be on page 4 of the discussions, there is a spot for introductions as well as members who’d like updates, so jump in at any time.

There are several pages of threads in this group. When you have the time, go back over them. See if you can add a comment or two. We’d love to hear what you think.

Each month we have a group read. Those threads are saved for new members joining, in case they’d like to add their input.

We’re finishing up our first group read of January 2008. It’s “The Missing” by Chris Mooney. What a great book! If you can get a copy, please join us in the discussion.

We also have other group and buddy reads. If you have read any of these books or decide to in the future, please feel free to comment.

We also have a US book ray that you are welcome to sign up for.

If you have any questions, please let me know!
