I work in an industry with lots of ups and down, so on my down time I am able to pick up a book and read. I use to read book after book and relish every word, but these days I have to find the right book at the right time. It isn't always easy so let me know what you recommend...

    Thanks! For your note :)
Sally does not look like a dump job to me. She looks like a Russian Blue kitty, and so very comfortable with her surroundings :)

    Hi! My name is Hilda
I'm fairly new to Shelfari looking to make friends and join a few groups.

Is that a Russian Blue kitty? We have a Russian Blue that looks just like the kitty in your avatar we call him "Angel", but he acts more like a little demon :)

    Hey Sandyb,
Guess I got that you were a J.E. Reader off of Crystals note(not sure). Try them they are great. Pretty light & laugh out loud.
I am a BIG Tami Hoag fan. She is up there with Patricia Cornwell.
    I like Sue Grafton too.
We are also in the Chick Lit Group.
Have just started my shelf & is alot of fun.

    Hey Sandy,
Come join our group "All Things Plum". We love Stephanie & all the books she is in. Our current group question is if they made a movie from the books who would you pick as actors???
    Happy Reading....

I just started the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich and am loving them! The series will be my "go to" book for those times I just need a quick funny read.

I finally finished Coffin Dancer. It was better than I thought it would be. It was slow to get started but built speed and finished well. I also got the e-mail about management....too funny!! I think I'm ready for a management career!! Ha ha.

I like your pic of Halle, she looks like high society. Perhaps I should put one of T and his raspberry...in order to show his true personality!!

The Devil Wears Prada is a pretty good read, keeps you ahead with fashion perhaps, but the ending is poopie.

My cat is so like Bucky that I wonder if there is a hidden camera around here. He coaxes you to pet him, but if you caress a moment too long, watch out! He is even missing the same fang as Bucky. He is old and grumpy and rules our house. Though we have a very fat, I mean majestic female calico who bounces him now and then just for spite.

Hello, dropping by because I like to say "hi" to all the new cats here. Yours is lovely. I've always wanted a grey kitty, but no opportunity yet. I pretty much just get whatever comes to my door.
