A desert rat and ex-pat from North Carolina, currently sojournering in the Upper Midwest. I love nothing more than spending a morning drinking coffee while reading or an evening curled up by the fireplace with a good book and a good whiskey, unless I could be backpacking, canoeing or fishing... I enjoy a good story, reading about the American West and the American South as well as other cultures. I also enjoy history, philosophy and theology and naps in a hammock on a summer afternoon.
