Why thank you kindly!
Apparently you're not the only one who reads labels too. I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do that...
I just upgraded to a Nook tablet, and am LOVING having all of those books available any time I want. And the immediate gratification of instantly being able to download and read whenever I want is pretty awesome, too!
im new, but i think it's like this... go to your library click on lend me(located on the top of your screen). There you will see alll the lendable book you own. Then click on the brownish scroll that say "borrow books from friends". There you will c alll the friend you added as well as a feature that says add frinds. it isthere where you can add me as your friend.
Hi Sabrina, welcome to the I Love Reading Challenges group. If you have any questions we have an "I Have a Question" thread. Feel free to post any new reading challenges you find in the challenges thread. You may also start a discussion thread for it if you want. I am glad you joined and I am looking forward to reading with you.
Thirteenth Tale was interesting ... clues dropped along the way. Hope your student teaching is going well. I have a student teacher in my class with me for 2 more weeks. He is countng down to graduation; I am sure you are too! Good luck with the job hunt!
Hi! Well, right now I would suggest Mary, Bloody Mary and Beware Princess Elizabeth by Carolyn Meyer. They are young adult books, but I was very impressed by them. The author also did books about Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn but I haven't read them yet. I've got a few on my to read list, if you want to know what I think, I'd be happy to pass on my recs when I've finished. If you have any to share, I'd love to hear. Always great to meet a fellow fan of the Tudors. : )
Hi. Here are some of my favorite Elizabethan era books: Secrets of the Tudor Court by Kate Emerson, Lady Elizabeth Alison Weir, Robin Maxwell has many, A Sweet Disorder, Philippa Gregory has several and Karen Harpers are some of my favorites. Also some good choices for other historical fiction if you are interested are A Proud Taste for Scarlet and Miniver about Eleanor of Aquitaine, The Canterbury Papers and the Secret Adventures of Charlotte Bronte. Hope this helps.
i actually have not read the book yet. i've read bits and pieces of it. my mom read it and said it was a good look into their lives. but on the annoying thing, yes they drive me nutz lol!! kate is very annoying, i kinda feel sorry for jon sometimes because she can be mean!!
