Seems we writers have to be Einsteins of marketing these days. Makes you long for the old days when we could just sit around and write. :) Hmm, except I wasn't writing in those old days. But I've heard stories. LOL Happy Earth Day!
Ahh, the million dollar question, Ryan. :) I can tell you what works for me. Continue with the online marketing, as you do for your ebooks, of course. I joined a couple of local writing groups that promote members at local book fairs and other functions. My books tend to sell better when there are multiple authors than when I'm alone. I recommend this for unknowns like me. I visit independent book stores in my area and offer to do readings and/or book signings for them in exchange for them carrying my books. So far, that has worked out great. I also hit up local gift shops that cater to visitors to our state, since some of my books take place in my local city. Hope that helps. My next quest will be how to get book stores to stock my ebooks. I don't see many ebook CDs in the stores. My first with SynergE is scheduled for release this summer. I'm getting a head start on the online marketing now, but I don't find much advice on getting them into stores. Any suggestions for me?
Thanks for the add, Ryan. Good luck with your writing and publishing!
Hope you can a fellow reader and SynergE author as a friend.
