    Hi Ruth,
No, I haven't gotten a copy of "Gus the Great" yet. I really don't have any more room in my house for books, so I try not to buy any. (although I allow myself some as Chriistmas gifts) My library system didn't carry it but I have yet to perform an out-of-state search. If I can't find it, I'll put in on my Christmas wish list.
Thanks for the website link. The photographes were great.

    Hi Ruth,

Thank you for the note on my page. Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Amber and I happen to run this little website known as The Gilded Pen. It is my self-appointed job to help authors to promote themselves to readers, for organizations to promote themselves to writers, and for readers to discover new faces, new titles, and new adventures. The Gilded Pen, and in connection me, is a writer's friend.

I understand and agree with you that friends are very special and should be selected with care, but I also like to believe that a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet. If you would like to know who I am personally, feel free to check out my personal account at shelfari.com/ajennell.

    Happy writing and happy reading,
    Amber

    BTW, The Phoenix looks good!

Ruth, 3 of the C.A.M.P. books in Haworth's That Man From C.A.M.P. (with all that goings on at Haworth, I'm worried this one may drop off the market); 3 more in Tales From C.A.M.P., Jackie's Back (GLB pubs); The Gay Dogs and Color Him Gay were recently reissued separately by Wildside Press. That leaves only The Watercress File (which was a turkey) of the ones I wrote. There was a 10th, written, I think, by Sam Dodson, and some spinoffs - The C.A.M.P. Cookbook, The CA.M.P. Astrology Guide, written by Lady Agatha (aka El Barrow) - But to tell the truth, these are from so long ago, it seems to me like they were written by somebody else...Victor

Oh I haven't even logged on to shelfari since July! :) I keep forgetting to friend people, even though they're already my friends. I'm still getting used to friending people on LJ, let alone here. Thanks for reminding me. I did already have The Phoenix on my list. Anything that boosts readership is a good thing.
