I am Nanette M. Buchanan an author and a native of Newark, New Jersey. I now reside now in Somerset, New Jersey. I am a proud mother, wife and grandmother. I am currently an employee of the State of New Jersey and I have just self published my debut novel, "Family Secrets.....Lies & Alibis. I began writing in 1975 while attending Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Poetry, children stories and now novels are a part of my writing experience. My poems have been read publicly, sold as greeting cards, and as personalized gifts.

I have been planning and coordinating events for more than ten years. Once I retire I plan on taking on both my writing and coordinating full time. I love to read mysteries, and drama packed stories and I enjoy reading a lot of self help and devotional writings. « less
