    “I was sucked right in to this amazing story while listening to it on my ipod. It is both informative and enormously entertaining as it provides information on how the US Congress (particularly one man – Charlie Wilson) and the CIA worked through the Pakistan government to help the Afghanistan freedom fighters in their war with Russia. Our family dog was sure happy as the length and frequency of her walks increased to get through the entire 20 hours of excellent narration. This is a true story and with such information available it’s a wonder why we continue to get ourselves into the messes we do. I truly doubt you will regret the time you spend with this book.”

    “I also purchased this title from www.audible.com and I’m glad I did. The narrator has this wonderful ability to make the mostly delightful characters come alive in this very memorable read. Highly recommended and certaiinly a 5 star rating.”
