Agree with Connie C .......A thousand splendid suns is a fantastic book...I really loved it...but speaking personally I'm not so sure that I would have appreciated it quite so much when I was 16.

Just looking at the other novels you've been reading, I'm not so sure you'd like A Thousand Splendid Suns at this time in your life. I think, if I were you, I'd wait and read it when you were a bit older because it deals with 3 generations of women and it's a really deep read. Not that you couldn't handle it, but I think it'd have much greater meaning to you when you're older and have experienced more in life. Hope that makes sense.

Graceling was a good book. It has a sequel which gives the backstory of one of the characters. I always like learning more about the interesting characters. The book has people and persons of particular abilities which make the story a little more interesting. A touch of fantasy is a good thing. My daughter and I read it outloud to each other while driving across country this summer and we couldn't wait to hurry and pump gas and eat so that we could get back into the car and continue the book.

Hunger Games is the first in a trilogy and so you can also read Catching Fire and Mockingjay (which comes out on the 24th of this month) and not have to wait to find out how the whole story ends. I would recommend it. It is coming out as a movie and I have reservations as so how violent and shocking it could be portrayed on film. It will depend on the director and backers. If it's too realistically bloody and gross, I won't go see it because for me it would ruin the enjoyment of the books.

If Tomorrow Comes: the first half of the book is good. In the next half, each chapter reads like a separate short story. i didnt like it. but there are tons of people who crazily loved this book and few who didnt. So try it out anyway.

I highly recommend "The Hunger Games" and its sequel "Catching Fire". The final book in the trilogy is set to be released on August 24th and I am really looking forward to it! If you enjoy this, I might also recommend "The Maze Runner" by James Dashner. Enjoy!!

I would say read Marked. But see if you like it before committing to the series. It's a younger teenager version of the Twilight series.
