I got them in the following books haha. He begins to explain a bit more about them and Dust. You should read the next two books because they truly are interesting. I absolutely love them. They do go deep and beyond what it written but it is still amazing.
Hey in regards to your question about daemons on The Golden Compass. I'm putting it up here just in case you didn't see it there but Daemons are souls. Everyone has a soul except that theirs lives in the form of an animal which is called a Daemon.
Yeah, I agree with you about the heat, grabe. I was just in Manila this past April and di ko talaga makayanan ang iniit! Inom ako ng inom ng tubig! It's a sigh of relief kung nasa mall ako dahil ang lamig nang air con. Ganda na pala ng Pinas, I went to MOA and grabe ang laki! Nahilo yata ako kakalakad dun, I also got confused because I didn't remember where the entrance and exit was, haha. Election na pala dyan no? Who are you voting for?
If you life fantasy or sci fi books, have you heard of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series? Parody and satire sya and nakakatawa din, it's got that typical dry British humour. I love the Golden Compass series. . .talagang nai-immerse ka sa world nun. Also, I have the copy of Wicked pero di ko pa rin nababasa but I heard it's really good. I haven't heard of Garth Nix though. . .pero I'll have a look. . .

It is! I am halfway through the book now, I am enjoying reading about Sayuri's story. It is so well written and explains everything so well. I am glad I started reading it! ^_^
Hi Rosanna, I don't know how racy you like your sci fi/fantasy books, but have you checked out Laurel K. Hamilton? She's fantastic! I like the Meredith Gentry series rather than the vampire series. I think there are about 8 books in this particular series...anyway, never read books by an author with such a vivid imagination before!
Also check out Terry Brooks' A Knight of the Word series, they are also really good reads.
