    Hello

I found myself "hearing" the characters in this story. They are well written and I found myself able to leave the normal world behind.

I deeply enjoyed the humor and the addition of P. Anthony, that was a touch I did not expect at all. Dracula in this book is seen in a different light, not a true creature of evil at all. I do suggest that you read this book as it is very good and enjoyable.
    Timothy Haas

    DRACULA: Hearts of Stone.
Enter this world of magical vampires. It’s a place where enchantment and biters interweave for an exciting adventure.
It’s a tale of magic, romance and fangs; a tale of valor.
We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a new novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.

    OR
Madman in the Mirror is delightfully different.
A very unique and well written book- MADMAN IN THE MIRROR is on a class by itself- and that is a very impressive class at that- A.J. is a master at creating word images that remain with the reader long after the book is finished- the true sign of a great writer!!

Thank you so, so much!!! That's so sweet of you!! Oh my gosh, yes, Bitterblue was... incredible. I still love Fire like a teeny tiny bit more, but Bitterblue was honestly just as amazing, and I absolutely LOVE the way Kristin Cashore writes.

YEEESS! The mall!! Ugh, it puts my city's mall to shame. But then again, any mall put out city's mall to shame. Texas is probably amazing, I haven't really been anywhere in Texas, except my city and anywhere is better than my city. I like in a military town and 99% of everyone is military and 99% of the town is crappy lol. I've been to a few states for like family reunions and stuff but Cali and Flordia are the only ones that are fun to me. New York isn't all it's cracked up to be but back to my main point, i call San Fran my homeland lol. I cannot wait to move!!!! :D

That's good :) I haven't really looked at the guys. I hope they are atleast decent looking! I guess figure that out once I watch it

I'm loving it toooo! my school library even recommends it :D yes i plan to read that one too. usually the first books of series are generally the best

Very true! yeah i'm flexiblewith books. I read all genres but not too much of the vampire werewolf ones. You should read the Maze Runner! It's pretty good! people have mixed reviews about it but, of course, I'm on the "like" side

That's interesting; I've read some of those and they are certainly great books :)
I totally agree with what you said about the Hunger Games. Some parts were very slow and got boring. Yet the plot is so compelling! I hope they do a good job on the movie and try to work out those iffy parts.
I'm about 2 chapters in of Graceling and I think it's amazing!! I must check out Sweep then.

Yeah I'm into paranormal, fantasy, dystopia, and mystery but at the same time i enjoy realistic fiction too. i can see that dystopic books are getting very popular these days :D

To make it easy on myself I just say the same 3 series even though i have TONS of favorite books. I like Harry Potter, Maximum Ride and the Maze Runner.

I'm glad you enjoyed The Perks of Being a Wallflower. It's a great book. (:
I haven't read Firefly Lane, but I have it on my to-read list I think. Tell me how it is!
Summer reads are probably my favorite kind of books to read. Not that I don't enjoy more serious books, but light-hearted books can be good too. ^^
I'm going on a trip soon, so I wanted to bring some thick books with me. I was thinking those Gemma Doyle books, but I'm not sure. I might try The Book Thief instead. Have you read them?

I'm really picky when it comes to reading YA Fantasy. I think it's because I love Harry Potter so much. I've just been reading too many YA books like Beautiful Creatures lately. They don't impress me all that much, and I feel like they're all pretty much the same.
A Match Made in High School was a cute read. Nothing too heavy. It was funny though, so it's a great distraction to waste time in summer. :)
Right now I'm reading North of Beautiful by Justina Chen Headley. I really like it so far. It's a bit more serious though. Her style of writing reminds me of Sarah Dessen, who I love.
Let me know how The Perks of Being a Wallflower goes! (:

I actually tried to read the first HoN book, and I didn't really like it so I gave up on the series, so I know what you mean.
And I've actually read both of those books. They are really good! You have great taste. (:
I had actually never heard of synesthesia before I read A Mango-Shaped Space. It's really interesting. I wonder what it must be like to have it. Seems pretty cool. :)
And The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of the best books I have ever read. I think you'll like it.
Right now, I just finished Beautiful Creatures which I thought was just OK. Nothing amazing. And now I'm reading A Match Made in High School, which is a light read. I'm trying to repair my brain from school. :P

I completely agree with you on the Harry Potter thing. I love the characters to death, and even though I blubbered throughout the last one, I have to say the books wouldn't be as good without the deaths.
So what are you reading right now? (:

Collins is a good writer so I think she'll kill off either a main or semi-main characters. It just seems more realistic. I can't stand books where everyone lives happily ever after and nothing bad happens to anyone.
Lol, that makes me sound so cold-hearted. xD
I will be sad if any of Katniss's friends die though.
There HAS to be a District 13! With all the hints she dropped, if there wasn't, all her readers will be like WHUT. I don't see how she'd be able to write out a good ending without it too. ^^
    Ahhh, can't wait.

I guess she could pick either one and her readers would be satisfied. [3
I'm really just so excited. I can't believe it's the last book. I'm curious to see how Collins is going to wrap it all up. If I found out there's going to be more books, I'll be so upset but happy. xD
