“I have read all of Grisham's books and this is the first time I have been disappointed. His books are either legal thrillers or humorous, or both. This one is more of a mystery, but not a "who done it mystery," but a "why is he doing this" mystery. Too much vital information is kept from the reader until toward the end. Nevertheless, it is still a good story, teaches something about the legal system, and the main character is able to make up for being treated unfairly by taking off with the riches.”
