Hi. Whatcha been up to? I recently took a ride on the wild side with Jaci Burton and her Wild Riders series. Have you read any of her books? Hot, hot, hot. Her love scenes rival some of the best. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

How are you liking Darkest Whisper? I am in possession of Darkest Whisper and actually started it, but my girl wanted me to read Dark
    Time.

Yes, Johanna Lindsey is still one of my favorite authors, she was the one of the first author I've read years ago. I don't have all her books on the shelf yet, but I'm getting there. Oh yeah, the Malory brothers...those are greatl. I'm not sure what she is up to lately, I have to check that out.

Yes, recently I've been getting the books of Lora Leigh, so I've been reading thos at the moment. I've read Wild card (love it) and I've read nauti boy & nauti nights and currently waiting for the other two books in the Nauti series. But I have to say this series is fabulous. I loved Dwag and his blackmail...LOL...Now I'm going to read the Breed series, but I've heard great thing about them, so I know I'm going to love them.

Okay so I read Lover Awakened and I enjoyed it very much. It is truly a good book. I don't know if I will read any other BDB novels though.

Ha! I just read your review. I didn't find the explanation boring or too long. I found it interesting. Before this book I had only read one other vampire series so blood ties and such were new to me. I still love these novels they are much better than the fluff thats out there. They also are not romance novels so heavy sex scenes are not needed. These books are found in the regular fiction and sci-fi horror section. I love bloody action with a little romance and interesting characters. What I don't like are books with bunch of sex and romance. Cyrus is a great character however you have to read the rest of the series because what shocked you isn't all there is. There is more but you still may not like it lol

I started to read it last nite after I was done with Dreamfever, but I just couldn't get into it, not yet anyway, is going to take a great book to get me distracted from my obsession with Dreamfever. It was not a good rebound book. LOL

Oh yes I feel so sorry for books I read after I've read something amazing lol

Omg I love Michael from prison break okay okay I will read Lover Awakened picturing him. I will go buy it after I get off work. That's another reason I couldn't enjoy the books I couldn't picture the males. There descriptions were unattractive lol.

lol I read the first and second book of the series. I liked Dark Lover much better towards the middle and end. The story seemed to lack steam in the beginning. I hate the way the brothers talk. "What do you want female?" and other non sense is simply annoying. Other dialogue makes me laugh out loud, "Oh Wrath, my love." I like romance, but this was a bit cliche. Overall it wasn't a completely horrible read. There were some aspects that I really enjoyed, such as dynamics between the lessers and the brothers. The second book had okay moments, however I had to force myself to finish it. I just find these books boring with cliche dialogue. I keep trying to like them because everyone else does. But I just don't get why everyone says there so amazing lol I am still debating reading Lover Awakened because I find Zsadist interesting.

I think the reason is I am picky about romance. I am not a die hard romance fan. I like books with action and some romance thrown in. I see you rated The Turning with 1 star!!!! Oh my god its one of my favorite series. What didn't you like about it?!!
