My main reading interest is romance novels. My books have to have a happy ending! I have recently been intoduced to Urban Fantasy and like that genre as well. I read on average about 4 books a week. I keep a book diary and post reviews at my blog Romance Rookie.

Her Kate Daniels series starts with Magic Bites, then it is Magic Burns followed by Magic Strikes. She also is beginning a new series starting with On the Edge that just came out, but I'd start her with Magic Bites if I were you. That book is quite good, and the series only gets better with each book!

Hi Jill - You have The Madness of Lord Ian on your favorite shelf. I'm probably going to start that book this weekend. Is it one of those books that you just don't want to put down?

You sent me a "should I read" the Full Moon Rising book. I have it on my shelf to read but have not read it yet. I have heard good things about that Riley Jensen series though.

Hi, I just accepted your friendship and it does seem like that would be a good thing! I'm just kind of "checking in" on my grand-daughter's teentsy-weentsy computer, which is one with only one of those touch-pads and a tiny keyboard - but better than nothing. We're at the moment on our second week of a vacation in Maui (!!!) and the other two have gone snorkeling, and I opted to stay in the condo to do this. My point is that, once I'm back to a normal life (and that may not be for a couple more weeks!) possibly my friendship will mean more.....

    Hello Jill D!

How are you? By the way, my name is Joyce. Thank you for the friend request. I really appreciate it. You blog romance rookie is one the blogs I frequent when I look for reviews. And I love your shelf.♥ I rummaged through it already and found we have a lot of books in common.

I see you like Sugar Daddy and Blue-Eyed Devil. Those are among my Lisa Kleypas favorites! I'm starting to listen to Smooth Talking Stranger on Audio. And I see you have read Susan Elizabeth Phillips. She's one of my favorite authors as well. ;) Haven't read Heaven, Texas but I read most of her Chicago Star Series and one of Phillips' stand-alone book titled Kiss An Angel. It's one of my favorites and I recommend it to you. ;) And I'm happy you liked Tempt me at Twilight. I just finished Seduce Me at Sunrise and I can't wait to read this one.

Hoping to talk to you soon. Have a nice day Jill. ;)

Hi Jill - I started Heaven, Texas last night and so far it is really good. I'm at the point where Bobby Tom finds Gracie drunk at his moms house. Too funny. I like Bobby Tom's character - I think he is a good old boy with lots of Alpha qualities.

I have that on hold at my library to read next. I finished - It Had to Be You last week, so I wanted to continue with Bobby Tom's book. Chat with you soon, J

I used to go to your website to read the excerpts from the dreamfever before it came out, I started reading this book 2 months ago and has turn in to an obsession for me. Now I don't even know what I want to read. Do you have any suggestion of a book of a series that would be good for rebounding.lol. thanks.

I got a Sony Reader PRS-700, despite all the negative reviews and feedback. When I first held it in my hands I was baffled, because I couldn't find any of the faults others complained about (especially the glare - I'm still looking for than one, maybe it got lost in the mail LOL). The Kindle was too big for me and kinda ugly.

But nothing will ever beat a physical book, the feel and the smell of the paper. Oh, baby. But with a 300+ ebooks in my library I had to think of something better than my laptop. The reader is great, small, sleek, reads (almost) like a book, eyes don't hurt...And it has an annotation feature as well (for work-related reading).

I'm stuck at the beginning, having read only the prologue. It's "sitting" on my nightstand, waiting for me to finish playing with my new reader.
I'll have to wait for my ebook obsession to subside before picking up HLNO again.

    Hi Jill,
Nice to hook up with you here too! Hope we get to talk books a lot. Lately I have only used Shelfari to keep my list of books (own, plan to read, reading now, read) up to date. Nice to have a list somewhere other than my own spreadsheets.
I have been meaning to post some reviews here but haven't had the time yet! Maybe during my vacation at the end of this month I'll squeeze in a few hours to get it done. It's not a whole lot of work, just a question of copy/pasting from my review-documents, but still have to make the time for it.

Hope to talk to you a lot more about books and reading.

    Hugs,
    Pearl

    Hi Jill,

Thanks for the request! I have been neglecting my shelfarishelf a bit lately, been busy with other things. I am struggling with my review of Rona Sharon's Royal Blood and am reading Daughter of Blood now for my reader's challenge and after that I really want to read a good comtemporary romance! What are you reading right now?
