Thanks for adding me as a friend! I'm mainly a contemp reader - romances, mysteries, cozies. I have Sugar Daddy in my TBR. I've heard great things about it. I love my books, too. I need more reading time, though. LOL

    Hi Marie,
I don't have Simply Perfect yet! It isn't being published until the end of the month here in the UK so I shall be patient! Wouldn't it be great of a group of us likeminded souls could meet up in London and I could show you some of the places described in our favourite books - what a wonderful thought.
i have just finished my latest book and have about 100 unread ones to chose from - I'm just not sure which type to go for next - funny, warm, Regency, Medieval? Oh well I shall have a chance to look through all my unread shelf.
    Best wishes

Dear Marie, London is cool at the moment - literally cool! We have had snow over the last couple of days and icy winds. It is just the sort of weather for staying in wrapped in a blanket and reading a good book!
You must try and come to my home town sometime - there is so much to see and do in London that I defy anyone to get bored. If you ever come I will give you my personal tour of places that are off the tourist trap!
    Regards
    Gilly

Marie! How is life treating you? Things are going spiffy wonderful here! Have you and your hubby gotten yourselves moved to Florida yet? Hope things go off without a snag! Ok, I sent you a message to your yahoo accout, I found this GREAT website that was recommended on bookmooch, it is called Booksfree.com. Basically it is a lending library. The basic plan is for 10 bucks a month, and you get two books at a time. Once you have read those, you send them back, free shipping both ways, and they send you two more off your list. If you decide you want to keep the book, you can buy it at a discounted price. Pretty spiffy, especially if you have a grumpy butt hubby like me who thinks books are DUMB! Anyway, thought you might be interested! Later gater!

    Romancefanreader-
I remembered your comment about the end of Persuasion and wondered if you had seen this hilarious video about it on YouTube:

It basically makes fun of the entire ending. Thought you might enjoy. :) Also, I saw your shelf- The Mad Marquis sounds intriguing.

Hey marie! Congrats about the new house! Flordia will be a nice change for you guys! I hope you enjoy your new place! My first round of auctions went pretty well, I sold probably 150 books, most of them went pretty good, but the person who got the bargin of the year was the lady who got 39 Krentz books for a penny. Yeah, she will be one happy cookie when she gets them! Later!
