My latest read is James Baldwin's "The Cross of Redemption: Uncollected Writings." If you are a Baldwin fan it's like he never left. Many forget what an intellectual he was and how he articulated African American thoughts on a variety of subjects without being a "spokesman." I'm almost through and I will be writing a favorable review.
Ages! But yes I have read the Da Vinci Code now. Yet to read Demons and Angels though. I liked the book. The suspense was great. Only one of my friends feels its a bit blasphemous in some parts and has refused to read it. She is acting on hearsay!!
I will try and find the other book and read. Cheers.
First, I am ashamed to answer this note because I have been away so long. Now I am at home everyday undergoing chemotherapy and I got all the time in the world, figuratively speaking, but it is working. I am back and working. Second, thanks for buying my book. Third, I hope to hear from you again. I'm sorry that it took so long to get back with you. Don
We read and discussed Captured by Beverly Jenkins a few months ago and it's nominated as the best historical of the year over at:
If you think it's the best historical on the list, please vote for it. Let's spread the word.
Hello, Rogue. I’m the author of The Sandal Maker, a new novel about the public ministry of Jesus from a unique point of view, a little controversial at times, but you will see him as never before. It’s a story that will take you on a fascinating journey in first century Galilee. Have you ever wondered what is was like to live in those times? What part did women play in his ministry? Was he the first feminist? Were the miracles real? Why did Judas betray the Master? How does the gospel of Jesus compare to the gospel according to Peter and Paul? This is a “must read” for those on a true spiritual quest. You can read reviews at Amazon.com. I’m including a link to copy and paste. Let me know what you think.
Hello Rogue. I 'm just drooping a note to invite you to visit my site: www.mzmarieantionette.com and check out the release of my book titled A Girl Named Job available via-paypal. This is a revised second release due to difficulties I experienced with a subsidiary publisher 3 years ago. I've learned that practice = progress and if you are interested, I'd truly appreciate your support.
