Rob Kaay is an Australian music-maker and story teller.

Rob has started a speculative-fiction novel trilogy revolving around the effect a planet called Silverbirch has over human choices on Earth. Book One is called A Tear in the Fabric of the Night Sky and is available now in multiple formats.

Rob is currently writing the second Silverbirch novel.

Before Silverbirch; Rob spent ten years as a professional rock musician.

During this time, he lived and wrote two books portraying what it's really like to be an Australian musician in a rock band signed to an American record label, living in Los Angeles, hanging out in Hollywood clubs, touring America and Australia, dating strippers, having all your bills paid for and receiving a weekly beer and food allowance that is sometimes spent on drugs.
