Thanks for the info. Maybe I will start with one of her other series.
I see that you have read alot of Christina Dodd. Do you like her books? I was thinking about trying her.
Let me know how the Hit List is! I'm waiting for it in paperback, but I'd still like to know how it compares to her other books :]
I friggin' love love love The Mediator series [3
I originally read these in my Jr. High days, but recently I've been reading every YA fiction book I ever read- so I've been reading these along with some other. And I'm glad to say they I still love them!
I love Suze and I think the last 2 books are the greatest. I actually read them out of order, starting with the 5th one. I never realized until I ordered the whole series that I hadn't read the last book. So after enjoying the books all over again, I was totally psyched and extremely happy to read the concluding book. It felt even more special cause I was finishing this series as an adult but still loving it :]
Suze Simon is a pretty fun character and a pretty fun one at that. I thought these books were great. I also like her 1-800 series too. I haven't read this one fully, but it's on my TBR list for the summer :3
I would definitely recommend you give this series a try! It's one of my Top 5 YA novels/series.
I'm also a fan of her 1-800 series, which also centers around a psychic of sorts. I read one of her newer novels called Insatiable and I can't say I liked it that much. It's an adult audience novel, but even compared to her YA works, I'm confident in saying that it isn't as enjoyable as The Mediator or 1-800 series.
Thank you for excepting my friend request:):):):):)
~Karmen A. Grant~:)
I'm pretty sure Ranma 1/2 was my first manga as well ha ha. I haven't read the manga, but I do have the complete anime of Ai Yori Aoshi. I loved it, but was left slightly unsatisfied at the end. Shaolin Sisters and Real Bout High School are pretty good and action packed. The last manga I completed was Absolute Boyfriend by Yuu Watase and it's definitely a Rom-Com kind of manga. I kinda want to try Crimson Hero just because I liked it in Shojo Beat back when I bought those magazines lol. have 1-3 of High School Debut and I liked it, but not enough to collect the rest of it.
I'm pretty impatient too when it comes to waiting for books. But I'm also anal about my book collections. If I start collecting a series in paperback it has to stay that way lol. Same goes for hardcovers. It just bugs me crazy when I see the different sizes in one series ha ha. I have tried the Meredith Gentry series, but I didn't like it as much by the time I got to book 4, I think it was. Have you tried Mona Lisa Awakening by Sunny? I like that series.
Right now I'm into a manga series called NANA. It's up to 21 volumes, but I only have up to 13. I just recently got back into it. And I have to say, 13 volumes in and I'm still as interested as I was in the beginning. Do you like realism or comedy or romance? What kind of genres do you like besides paranormal romance? Cause there's a manga series called Ceres:Celestial Legend that I have that's really good. It's by a very well known manga-ka (author) and it involves goddesses and such. If you like comedy my favourite one is called Ranma 1/2 and it's an older series, but a goody. It's HILARIOUS!!! But ya, let me know what kind of manga you like :]
Hello Roni! I happen to love the exact same authors as you do lol! How up to date are you on LKH? I just bought Flirt, but I'm planning to reread the entire series before reading the latest book (I'm waiting for Bullet to come out in paperback still). I'm kind of rusty about where the series left off. I also like Kelley Armstrong and Charlaine Harris's series as well :3
And welcome to Shelfari!!
