My name is Ryan and I am a senior at Naperville Central, as well as a future freshman (and hopefully beyond?) at UIC. My favorite books I like to read are usually commentaries on contemporary society. Most of the books I read for enjoyment are usually pretty screwed up, and usually involved sex, drugs, and other various situations one may find themselves in. I think I like these books the most because the writer shows such insight, and talks about parts of society nobody else wants to.
Some favorite writers include: Chuck Palahniuk, George Orwell, Bret Easton Ellis... and thats about it haha, I'm trying to expand my horizons but for now I'm just reading whatever I can by those three.
Whenever I read I am generally listening to my music, some of my favorite artists (I'll just list my top five) are Bloc Party, Smashing Pumpkins, blink-182, The Beatles and the fifth one is always swapping out, but right now I'd have to say... well I don't even know haha
