    Greetings Roberto,
    This is an invitation to join my group "I Came to Play". It is a private group and an invitation by an administrator is required. In the past I have "friended" people and then invited them to join. I just checked the box under your picture which says following. Have no idea what that means. If you see a request to be followed by me, say yes and I will invite you.

    Hi:
    I hope you are well and enjoying your reading.
    I have just published a new book that I think you might find interesting. It is titled "Shared Emptiness," and deals with the turmoil, depression and hope of a family that is victimized by a horrific random act of violence. I hope you'll take a look.
    Have a great weekend.

    This mission is of great political significance according to the politician and the boy can’t fail to complete it, because he will be assassinated if he does.
    Faced with this impossible choice, the boy procrastinates until circumstances make further delay impossible. Then he acts.
    But the results are not what he expects.

    Thanks Roberto. The books aren't in the book stores, but you can order off the B & N web site. The stories are good for YA readers and have Lexile and Accelerated Reader measures.

    Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die.
    There is a general explanation of the group under the discussion thread GROUP GUIDELINES.
    The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. May BOTM are;
    1. Choke by Palahniuk, Chuck, 2. Dr. Zhivago by Boris Pasternak 3. Titus Groan by Mervyn Peake 4. Works of Poe
    We are also starting something new. It will be a Long Read consisting of books from the list that are greater than a 1000 pages. The group will be starting with War and Peace by Tolstoy.
    June’s BOTM are The God of Small Things by Roy, Wide Sargasso Sea by Rhys and Midnight’s Children by Rushdie. I will post new discussion questions in June.
