Well, now at least most of my favourite books are up, and tagged. I have only put up books I would recommend for the most part. If I hated a book, I will NOT have it on my shelf.

I'm like you. I will think the books are great for a first read, but not for a second read so that is why i use the library to request a lot of the books i want to read. I'm glad you liked them :0) I haven't read Jennifer Rardin at all, as i have a pile of books i need to get through. I have the Amber Spyglass to finish, Start the J R Ward Brotherhood book, start the holy blood and the holy grail, and start the child of darkness that my friend has given me. I have also got to start the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer as the movie is coming out over her on December 26. So right now i'm in a tight spot about what to do and where to start on my reading list!! I will however try to look into Jennifer Rardin. The books by her sound interesting and much like Anita Blake or similar.

Thanks, Rita - I just finished the first three books of KMM's Fever series. It was different than the BDB, for sure, but I enjoyed it enough to keep reading it. Have never read KMM before. I just started "The Raven Prince, by Elizabeth Hoyt to change it up a bit.

I agree! Killing off all the friends made it different. If she had one or two friends left then she could have shared her experiences, but then maybe Lilith did this on purpose so Dante could start anew. I also had a thing about the hating one minute and loving the next, but then life isn't all fantasy tales so i guess Lilith wanted this to be a part of it. The ending is odd though, but it leaves room so everyone can make their own conclusion about what might happen next. It kind of reminds me of Anita Blake really, but just more annoying.

Well... I'm Impressed... no, I'm Overwhelmed (and jealous). Your bookshelf is Awesome! Thanks for the recommendations. What haven't you read? haha
I absolutely loved the BDB series by J.R. Ward. I'm thinking about the Dark Hunter series by Sherilyn Kenyon - in comparison to J.R. Ward, is that the direction I should take. Man, I have a whole lot of catchin' up to do. The best I can do is a book a week though. *rolls eyes and looks around* I'm so jealous of all you rapid readers who go thru 3-4 books in a weekend. Sheesh - How do you do it?

I Should have a look at the nightwalker series. If you like these books with demons in, you should read the lilith Saintcrow books with Dante Valentine in them if you haven't already :0) The nightwalker series reminds me of the series written by Christine Feehan.

Hey Rita, Guess What? I have just finished reading Lover Enshrined! FINALLY!! I do believe that this is one of the most interesting books i this series so far. I definitely want to find out more about Lash and the Chosen. I also hope that J R Ward will write a book about Revhenge and Xhex. It would be interesting to know more about these two, and whether they both get a lover or not, and whether John and Xhex get together. I think it's cute how Quinn and Blay are now with John, and that Blay has feelings for Quinn. In the next book i wonder if we see more about them . . . There is supposed to be a short behind the scenes book coming out in October that i definitely want to get. I can't wait for the next book to come out! We won;t take a no for no more books. That's Final. !!

Cool! That sounds like a lot of reading- I am currently reading like 5 books one of which is for a book club that just came to an end. I think I'm going to give up on Atonement though, his writing style is just too detailed, giving you the story from EVERY perspective for each scene, even the ones you could care less about. Thats extremely exciting the latest book in a series you enjoy is coming out in paperback! I'm so addicted to the in death series that i think I will have to try and reserve the hardcover of the latest one b/c I am too impatient to wait for the paperback.

As you can see on my shelf I am now re-reading Stranger in Death because I liked it so much and you made me want to reread all the parts I loved the first time. I love the running Trina over glass line lol.

Yeah nothing will beat that scene, although the wedding may come close. I am excited that the next book comes out in November even though it will probably be released in hardcover initially which is irritating.

I agree, Manfred makes it interesting, and i would like to see where Harper and Tolliver end up in the end. Maybe a child? or a wedding? :0)

Yes, I thin after some thought that it would be great to end on a trilogy as it does end with their story wrapped up, and it ends with a mysterious note, and a nearly happily ever after ending. I'm just suspicious that she may end up writing another one because Manfred's Grandmother said something about Harper finding her sister before she passed away.

I absolutely loved Born in Death, I was like laughing out loud non-stop for the ENTIRE delivery room scene between Eve and Roarke I thought I was going to die from laughing so hard. So we saw how it went last time her friends dragged her into a commitment

I have finished reading An Ice Cold Grave. OH MY GOODNESS!! I cannot believe that they actually got together and that both of them have been wanting to do it for a while. I think it's cute! I can't wait to see the next book. I think it might have something in it about Cameron. An there was a hint of Maybe a wedding date in this book. That would be interesting to explore .... I'm reading Three Bedrooms, One Corpse by Charlaine at the moment, nearly finished it, so hopefully i can start Lover Enshrined after this is no more books come in at the library. If they do i am going to shoot whoever returned them and ruined my book reading plan! ;) Well, better get back to my studies and reading :0)

Yeah I greatly enjoy reading the old books again. I agree that Peabody and McNab seem like they're just happy cohabbing for now. I am exciting to see if Eve will be asked/forced to be apart of the wedding party and how much she'll enjoy that lol.
