    Hi "BoOk WoRmS"!
    Our next book is "The Higher Power of Lucky" by Susan Patron. It was the 2007 Newbery Medal Winner. You need to have it finished by Februrary 11th.     How was "Go Ask Alice"? The discussion page is up and ready to comment on! How many of you joined the LIVE CHAT? Did you enjoy it more than our regular system? Please leave your comments our discussion page. Well our next book was suggested by Irina n and is called "How I Became Stupid" by Martin Page. Thanks for the suggestion Irina n. Since it is our new book, I will take off the "Time for Hope" discussion page. We need to have the book finished by December 22, 2007! Keep on reading, even over the winter break.

    Who read "The Lightening Theif"? Well I hope everyone finished it! Our next book was suggested by "J. Hale Turner" and is called "Time for Hope" by Maxine Billings.     P.S. I started a book called "Flipped" which has a baby chick on the cover. The author has an interesting writing style using point of view. He goes into the kids minds and recalls the same event, but with different P.O.V.

    Hi “BoOk WoRmS” Members,
    There are now 24 PEOPLE in our group! Thank you to all of the people who participated. The winner of the “New WoRmS” contest was “mebookworm” and she chose “The World’s Shortest Stories” by Steve Moss. It is a book that has many short stories, all just 55 words long! Please finish it by May 5, 2007. We are starting a new thing were for each book there is a “Super WoRm”. It can be decided before, during, or after reading the book. It is basically the person who contributed the most to the discussions, comments, group activities, and MORE! Each time you are a “Super WoRm” you get a star. After being it for five time, you get to choose the next book!! Leave notes on my page for which book you would like to read next. Please welcome in our new members!!

    From April 1st to the 15th we are going to be reading “Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café: A Novel” by Fannie Flagg.
