    Hi.
This year's favourites so far have been Jeff Kinney's "Diary of" series and of course the Percy Jackson series.... movies really help sell books, especially to some of the younger boys, and those that are reluctant readers. And again this year Robert Muchamore is popular.... The Hunger games has been very popular here too (I am just ready to start Mockingjay myself). Seems our boys have very similar tastes as Daniel X, and Angel Experiment have both been popular here too - although not quite so much this year.... I noticed that horror fiction is once again picking up here and you have me curious about Skeleton Creek, so I'm off to check it out right now!

Hi Richfield, I have very lax in checking in toShelfari lately, and so I apologise for my rudeness....
Please by all means browse away, and if you have anything you would like to recommend PLEASE, PLEASE let me know! I am really lucky here to have a couple of awesome suppliers that seem to be able to source US titles for me rather quickly... I am a BIG BIG fan an awful lot of US YA authors. And if you have anything that your male students are enjoying I'sd love to know what they are... I work in an all boy's school - so anything a little more girly I tend to read for my own pleasure...

I like how you are indicating titles you plan to buy under "wish list." That way teens will know what is coming soon instead of always having to ask "Are you going to buy..." I am still deciding whether to create a second shelf--right now mine is my reading, but I promote it to the students in my school library. But a shelf for the library alone would allow me to do some of the things you are doing...

Hi. It really helpful to see the ratings given by others. Whenever that's included it's a real plus.

    Sarah Teasdale

I am wild, I will sing to the trees,
I will sing to the stars in the sky,
I love, I am loved, he is mine,
Now at last I can die!

I am sandaled with wind and with flame,
I have heart-fire and singing to give,
I can tread on the grass or the stars,
Now at last I can live!
