Thank you for accepting my friendship.Perry Brass, author of Carnal Sacraments
I also love Diderot and THE THIRD POLICEMAN.
I like your shelf a lot. I jumped to look because of LAST EXIT TO BROOKLYN, but was really pleased to find RUNNING WILD by Ballard and De Lillo's RATNER'S STAR. Did you get all the way through that book? I have to admit that it defeated me. I don't like Burroughs as much as I used to. Do you read Ginsberg? I read a lot more of the classics in the past few years. Just read GERMINAL by Emile Zola, which I have a feeling you might like a lot. Have you read Ballard's THE ATROCITY EXHIBITION yet?Alyssa
i deleted my old shelfari..,.please be my friend again!
you have quite a few books on your shelf that I have been meaning to read (Poppy Z. Brite, Chuck Palahniuk, Dennis Cooper...). Am I the only one who hasn't read these authors!? I did however just pick up Frisk which I see is on your top ten list. I have a few to finish before I start it though.
What sort of tea do you generally drink?
I'm not a religious nut by any means, but I do think it is important to keep one's mind open and not shut out possibilities without significant evidence. It’s not always easy, but I think it is really a matter of keeping one’s mind selectively open. And you look really hot :).
BTW, are you sure you are an atheist...?
Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder.
21 works too. In fact, I think it's an excellent age.
And the fact that you're 20 too...
You are quite the hottie and I love your neck, jaw, lips, skin and ear. Too bad you live in England :(.
If you liked Palin you might like Wendy Cook's biography of her late husband too
Hmmm. No surprises here then :)Well... except Bastard Bunny. I'll have to borrow that.
Just glanced at your profile... we have very, very similar interests ;) I too am an atheist, though you probably guessed that by the numerous Dawkins books I have ;)
Thanks, you have a great collection too! I have been wanting to get into Dennis Cooper. Where do you suggest I start? Any other recommendations?
