I see you've read some of Candice Hern's books. Most of hers are very good, particularly the older ones that have been re-issued as e-books. Thanks for the request.

Well, I believe I'll just read it after 3/1 and find out - and if there is I'll add it to the Spring challenge. If not, it may become one of my Reader's Choices! Thanks, tho.

I just sent you a message but don't know if it will reach you so I'm trying it again here. Over a year ago, you read The Irish Bride by Alexis Harrington, about a girl from Ireland who has to leave for America and enters into a marriage with the brother of the man she's in love with. You reviewed it, rated it high. My question: Is there a love triangle? I need a book with one for a Challenge and this seems a good book. But does that triangle last a bit or end really quickly? Thanks for answering!

A pleasure to have you on my friends list :) I am currently reading A Little Folly by Jude Morgan. So far, it's very promising. Have you read any of his regency-set books.

    Hi Retro,
Been awhile since we have talked. I just noticed your on the top 100 Editors list. Congrats. How ever do you become and editor? Are you participating in the Readers of Romance Challenge Fall 2010? It is just starting. I am doing this one. There are so many wonderful books out there to read though it's hard to just pick on specifically for the challenge. Right now I am reading "Cyber Cinderella" by Christina Hopkinson and "The Tenth Circle" by Jodi Picoult on Audio. Well I will talk to you laters my friend.

    Hello Retroredux,
I want to thank you for your excellent reviews of Marion Chesney's Edwardian series. I never read any of her books and your review(s) are extremely helpful. When researching iBook for new author's of British Murder Mysteries I came across 'Our Lady of Pain' and thought I'd enjoy the book. Before purchasing I checked Shelfari to see if other members read the book and to read their reviews. Your reviews are so helpful, specifically, your suggestion to read the books in order. I wil be putting Ms. Chesney's books on my TBR list. Regards, MJ PS: I hope you don't mind my sending you this note.

The separation request hadn't yet been processed. I did that just now. If you search for that ISBN again, you'll get the correct copy.

    thanks,

    Howdy,

Re your contributor change for http://www.shelfari.com/books/3404208/Sea-Sprite-(Sirens-Of-The-Sea)-(Harlequin-Historical-Series-No-5 (that will shortly look differently.)

The edition you want is only one of 8 in this combined version and it was combined in error. I've submitted a request to separate it and am using the existing combined version to be for The Virtuous Cyprian by Cornick. Therefore I'm rejecting your contributor change. I am totally unfamiliar with this work so I do not know if the description and other detail page information apply to Cyprian or Sea Sprite. Do you know? If you do, would you ensure that the stuff does NOW apply to Cyprian by deleted the info if needed?

    Thanks (having fun yet?)

ok. Just an update for you. If you do try to read Eloisa James like you said you would...start with the Essex sisters series. The desperate duchess series is not as good.
