I'll note that these are just the books that I've actually read (and tagged by the month and year of the reading), not all the books I happen to own. My full library lives here: http://www.librarything.com/catalog/resurgo -- in case that's something... more »

Ugh, I'm re-reading it, slowly this time...and I noticed that there is already a mistake in the first couple hundred pages. When they're attacked by the Death Eaters after they left the Burrow, Hermione said she had never done a Memory Charm before...when about forty pages previous, she said she modified her Parents' memories....This doesn't seem to add up.

Loved your HP review, especially about the house-elves and the sentence about Kreacher at the end. That completely killed the whole preceding mood of the ending :(

Well, at least Draco nodded at them? But, yeah, the inner house separation was just..dumb. She stressed they must stand together so much...and never did it. But I think the thing about the epilogue that made me the most angry was the name Albus Severus...Why would you name your kid after someone you hated your entire school career, simply because he loved your mother? It doesn't make sense...And I thought Harry would be a little more creative than naming his kids after people that died...

*laugh* Yeah, it was a little obvious you were frustrated with it. I liked the majority of the book...but when it basically turned Harry into a Christ figure by making him sacrifice himself, it just went downhill from there....And the Epilogue was horrid..

I do believe I agree with you on all those wonderful points you made about Deathly Hallows...I enjoyed it was just...eh, not what I was wanting. Granted, it -is- a children's book.
